The everyday voices of coronavirus pandemic
By Rtr . Monali Chaskar
A diary is by its very nature an intensely personal thing. It’s a place to record our most intimate thoughts and worries about the world around us. The Lockdown started in the month of March. The government declared complete lockdown and I was shocked by the news.
The lockdown has disrupted school schedules, and confined the young powerhouses of energy to their homes, but it is difficult to keep the creative instincts locked down. Lockdown following the coronavirus pandemic has changed lives for most of the people. However, many people are working to find a way around the quarantine to be healthy, fit and more productive.
We all have had a life style change for the good from covering our mouths ,when we cough, sanitizing our hands after contacting any surface and from shaking hands to Namaste from the contemporary era, because we now are aware of what can happen if we don’t follow these practices. Daily routine change, daily time change, and change is the new norm.
Working time
Earlier most of the office goers were unaware of when the day started and ended, and they converted to being workaholic and stressed all the time. Now, working remotely or so called Work from home has changed the daily routine and people can now spend more time with their families and take care of them. People now find time to pursue different interests like painting, cooking etc.
The schools, colleges are closed for all students and now the students stay at their home, and complete their study courses digitally. Still the pandemic has not yet left us and we need to keep fighting with it.
A special thanks to doctors, nurses, policemen out there who gave up their time, fought for our safety standing in the front.
STAY HOME
Nothing is impossible; the word itself says “I’m possible”!
